+1 on diligence vs judgement; a GP that advertises strong diligence signals a good work ethic, but frankly better judgement trumps a worse work ethic where DPI is concerned.

This first section is titled 'Two ways to frame our existence' when the whole post was about framing, to me; how we frame our ideas determines our actions, results, and futures.

Absolutely love this, especially 'We are in the business of buying funds' - rings of the same framing Doug Leone has on being 'business partners' to startups, not just investors.

Great piece. The world isn't as categorical a place as people make it seem. Especially in power-law environments where the biggest successes are, by statistical definition, exceptions. Appreciate the bottoms-up approach.
